The mission of ACHS is to promote the well-being of cats and dogs in Abbeville County by providing services not available from the Abbeville Animal Shelter.
No-kill principles and education will be used to save lives through feline trap-neuter-return to reduce the population of homeless cats, rescue, adoption, low-cost spay/neuter services, pet food distribution through the UCMAC Food Pantry, limited veterinary medical care for indigent animals, and community education.
We are 100% donor supported. Our board and workers are all volunteers. We wouldn’t exist to help without you!
